In conjunction of the hierarchical CRN, a spectrum sensing procedure was introduced to help the SUs to vacate the occupied licensed spectrum and find suitable target channel to resume the unfinished transmission. In this paper, we focus on the delay analysis which is part of the spectrum sensing procedure and design of the corresponding optimal access strategy for the case of priority SU sharing in multiple licensed channels. By adoption of priority virtual queuing at M/G/1 queuing network in delay analysis, users can evaluates the expected delay experienced by various priority traffics. Here, SU and PU traffic can be seen as a main parameter to affect the delay analysis. Further, by minimizing the expected delay, the optimal access strategy is modeled as a nonlinear programming problem accordingly, which can be resolved by means of the classic Genetic Algorithm (GA).
