Title: Traffic analysis using visual basic
Authors: Ka Kian, Yap
Abstract: Transportation demand analysis plays several important roles in transportation engineering and planning. In general, transportation demand analysis attempts to quantity the amount of travel on the transportation system. The traditional four-step model has been used to forecast the urban travel. Basically, there are four phases in his model: trip generation model, trip distribution model, mode choice model and trip assignment model. In this thesis, the trip distribution model has been studied thoroughly.

Title: Review and application of traffic impact assessment for Precint 9 in Putrajaya
Authors: See Boon, Shze
Abstract: In Malaysia, many traffic congestion problems faced by motorist, residents and commercial operations in urban area. This is because the economic growth being reflected an equally high level of car ownership per capital. Any development regardless of its land use pattern will have some impact on its surrounding traffic system. The additional trips generated by a development increase the flow of traffic entering, existing or passing through the development. In an urban surrounding, such increases in traffic flow will also affect the roads of adjacent area. A better traffic scheme or urban transport strategy have to be prepare to reduce the congestion problems.
