| Abstract: | Transportation demand analysis plays several important roles in transportation engineering and planning. In general, transportation demand analysis attempts to quantity the amount of travel on the transportation system. The traditional four-step model has been used to forecast the urban travel. Basically, there are four phases in his model: trip generation model, trip distribution model, mode choice model and trip assignment model. In this thesis, the trip distribution model has been studied thoroughly. |
