Abstract: Recently the rapid growth of the Internet access and web technologies is giving companies new ways of doing business. As an inexpensive infrastructure that companies with their suppliers and customers, the internet creates the opportunities for unprecedented efficiency in supporting these business relationships. This is why many companies are looking into extending portions of their core business applications and data to the internet. Today, however, a dynamic, interactive, data-driven online content needed to be delivered to remain ahead of the business. One approach to deliver this functionality is to web-enabled the company’s traditional/legacy systems. By leveraging the processing power and application functionality of mainframe or minicomputer, new value can be delivered to existing customers and business partners, also revenue can be generated, customer service can be improved, processing time can be upgraded and operating costs can be lowered.
