Abstract:
The functions of the Sootblower system are maintain the thermal efficiency of the boiler by removing ash and soot adhering on the superheaters, reheaters and economiser tube surfaces, remove soot, ash and fouling deposits from the regenerative air heaters to maintain clean heat transfer surface, minimise pluggage and reduce the risk of air heater fires
