Abstract:
This project was a research on how effective the rear seat belt is. It is due to quite number of reduction in accident rate it can make and the modification that should be made by Kancil car due to the defect design of the lap-only belt. Most of the information obtained are based on the legislation of the United Kingdom (for rear seat belt) and from the United States of America and Germany (for the front seat belt). In the meanwhile, most of the technical information was obtained from Autoliv Hirotako Safety Sdn. Bhd.
