Abstract: Malaysia’s vision is to create a strong green technology that could help the development to sustain the nonrenewable fuels and to minimize the environmental degradation impact. The study of environmental behavior at green office building is about the impact of green office building towards staff environmental behavior by using theory of planned behavior (TPB). The TPB framework will be used to determine the behavioral intention of peoples in according to green initiative with the attitude the occupant, their norms and perceived behavioral control at the green office building. Human behavior is an essential ingredient in sustaining green office building efforts. Previous study on environmental behavior in workplace has shown positive impact of the intention of occupant to engage in environmental behavior. This paper highlights a critical review on the existing research of environmental behavior of peoples in green office building and aims in identify the role of attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavior control in encouraging pro-environmental behavior using TPB as approach.
