Abstract: [6, 17, 18, and 36], The quality of water is one of the most important environmental, social and political issues at global level [1]. This dissertation described several methods that have been applied in water quality (bacteria) and several external factors that could help bacteria to grow in water. By understanding and analyzing these factors that particular bacteria needs to grow, then it is possible to predict the bacteria growth by artificial intelligent system such as fuzzy system, Neural Network, Support Vector Machine. Coliform bacteria exist in intestines of human and animal, it can transport to water by feces, it is also may present in soil, surface water, and plants. [11]. The presence of a group of fecal Coliform in water which is known as E. coli (Escherichia coli) may cause diseases such as cholera, typhoid fever, dysentery etc. Thus, it is highly desirable to model the water quality by studying the growth of Coliform and E. Coli in water content. Though much research work is carried out in emphasizing the modeling the quality of water resources [11, 12 and 13], there are also increasing research efforts in modeling the water quality of natural water resources such as lakes and rivers [14 and 15], The existences of harmful E.coli bacteria in lake or river water can be danger to swim or drink form it. It is Also difficult to treat the water to remove the bacteria form the water in addition the bacteria able to re-growth elsewhere, for example (in pipe network or in drinking water systems [10, 9]). However, with increasingly stringent water quality standards, the problem of re-growth of E.coli bacteria has become of paramount importance.
